CPA Tax Manager

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Tax Manager to support the execution of their tax strategy and operations.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare quarterly and annual ASC 740 provision calculations and related SEC disclosures
Prepare federal, state, and local corporate income, franchise, and sales tax returns
Assist with tax issue resolution, including technical research and M&A due diligence support

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics; CPA, IRS EA, or Master's in Taxation required
5+ years of experience in a Big 4 firm or corporate tax department, focused on ASC 740 provisions
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and federal and state tax laws
Proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision is required
Experience in tax audits and dealing with tax authorities effectively
