Job Description:

Contract to Hire Data Modeler/Architect job in Washington DC. You will be supporting clinical information system development, interfaces and integration efforts.
 
Experience:
•             2-5 years of hands on experience in clinical information system development, interfaces and integration efforts.
•             Strong understanding of software engineering practices and principles specifically data modeling principles and techniques.
•             Experienced with business process modeling with health data sources and healthcare settings (clinical, non-clinical).
•             Business analysis experience in a healthcare setting (gathering requirements, whiteboard sessions)
•             Experience in mapping source data to target data models to standardize data
•             Familiarity with open data architecture and data models
•             Familiarity with UML, SOA concepts and HL7 standards
•             Familiarity with Couchbase DB is a plus
•             Experience in ETL techniques is a plus
 
Education Required
•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, MIS or equivalent professional experience.
